Is Foyles on Charing Cross the best bookstore I’ve visited? It may be. It’s at least sitting at the table for the “best ever” conversation, especially if we’re not talking about second-hand shops, which are a different animal altogether. But for brand new books? In terms of breadth, depth, and variety? If that’s what we’re talking about, then this particular bookshop might very well be the best I’ve found so far.
