Officially Signed with Falkin Literary

This weekend I signed a representation deal with Mark Falkin of Falkin Literary after a great chat we had last week about a book I wrote, currently titled IT WON'T LEAVE. It's a horror novel set in Texas, about a cancer patient named JJ who moves back to San Antonio, into his father's new house. As his chemo treatments begin, he realizes a malignant presence is hiding within the bones of that house. Something that wants him out. Something that sees HIM as a cancer in need of eradication.

I'm extremely excited to give this book a chance on the market, but also a little nervous. This publishing step has been a huge empty box I've wanted to check for a long time. I've been looking for an agent since 2010, sending out a revolving door of books that definitely weren't ready for publication but also books that I still deeply believe in, so hopefully this is only the first step on a long and fun journey. I'll keep everyone posted, but to everyone who has read any of my previous stories, poems, unpublished novels, etc., thank you, thank you, thank you. Your support has meant everything and your feedback has made me a better writer.

And you should check out Mark Falkin's books and other clients. His stuff seems right up my alley so I'm extra excited to be working specifically with him on this.
