This Is Poetry, Volume 5
I’m pretty pumped that I‘ll have four poems included in a new anthology called This Is Poetry Volume 5: Poets of the Northeast later this year alongside some incredible writers (and friends!) including Bud Smith, Ally Malinenko, John Grochalski, Puma Perl, Cheryl A. Rice, Rebecca Schumejda, and many others. Published by Citizens For Decent Literature Press, the anthology is running around 178 pages and focuses on poets from the northeastern US (obviously), but the topics vary pretty widely. My poems within are “Canoe,” “Poughkeepsie,” “Lunch Break,” and “There’s This Dream I Have,” with all coming from recent books of mine published by various small press publishers in the last ten years. The collection is available for preorder now ($18 I think) and really, trust me, the lineup is impressive. It’s going to be great and I’m honored to be included. A HUGE thank you goes to editor Michele McDannold for putting this together. I won’t have any signed copies to send but if I run into you and you hve a copy, you’ll get my sig, a drink, and one hell of a handshake. Thanks!
